SEIG HEIL, GOVENOR RENDELL

This is a personal message to Gov. Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania who has decided to stop state funding for the Scranton School for the Deaf, effective July 1.

You have disgraced yourself, your Democratic party and all of your fellow Jews in the state of Pennsylvania and throughout the world.

We, of all people, know better than to take away from handicapped children a wonderful educational environment and adversely affecting their future well-being.

By forcing these deaf students to attend a school near Pittsburgh, 250 miles away from home, puts a terribles hardship on them and their families.

Your actions, Sir, are no more than a contempt for human life, the same as it was with Adolf Hitler, since these are reminiscent of the tactics employed by his Third Reich.

The $6,500,000 that is needed to save the school is a mere drop in the bucket to the millions upon millions that your administration has squandered -- $24 million for the Harrisburg baseball stadium and $75 million to finance motion pictures made in the state, to cite just two examples.

Millions upon millions more have been allotted for various projects in the state that definitely could be cut in half.

The handicapped kids who attend the Scranton School for the Deaf should be your top priority. You see, Governor Rendell, without our assistance they will have very little opportunity for an optimistic future to become a benefit to our society. To take away such a great education from these youth is an act of an evil man, as well as legislators from Pennsylvania who are backing you in this diabolical scheme that is a monumental insult to good common sense,

You, Governor, are a political retard as are your cronies -- Bob Mellow, Todd Eachus, Ray Musto, Keith McCall, David Argall, Sen. Bob Casey, U,S. Congressman Paul Kanjorski and Scranton Mayor Christopher Doherty, among many others who have supported your despicable action.

All lack the wisdom and the integrity to represent the people.

Governor Rendell, STOP playing games with the lives of the less unfortunate -- the same way politicians in NE Penna, have jeopardized the health and well-being of citizens of Greater Hazleton by turning it into Cancer Capital, U.S.A.
